A brilliant vegan snack/dessert, these flourless brownies are one of the healthiest ways to satisfy your sweet tooth and perfect for making your loved ones feel special!
Our Hemp Seed Nutrition Powder gives the brownies a perfectly cakey and moist texture, which turns deliciously fudge when chocolate is added to the mix.
Optionally, you can even turn these into mocha brownies - just add 2 tbsp instant coffee powder!

COOK TIME: 15 mins
2 / 200g ripe bananas
40g soft pitted dates
4 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
70g / 6 tbsp hemp seed powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
A pinch of salt
A splash vanilla essence
20g of chopped dark chocolate, chocolate chips, cacao nibs, nuts or seeds of choice (optional)
Preheat the oven to 175ºC and prepare a baking/muffin tray.
Simply mix all the ingredients, except for the chocolate, smooth in a food processor or first mix the bananas, dates and honey smooth with a handheld mixer and then stir in the rest ingredients.
Divide the batter between the muffin cases or just transfer to your prepared pan. Optionally top with chocolate, cacao nibs, nuts or seeds and bake for 15 minutes or until a fork can pierce the brownie and come out clean. Take it out, let it cool slightly, cut it up and enjoy!
